evoluzioneNWB and NWP allow not to raise your ski when your foot is far from your body (and the added weight has a big lever arm: 50-70cm); this leads to an energy saving. Moreover, if the ski stays on the ground its weight and half of the binding one rest on the ground as well. For example, if with normal bindings you can go for 4 hours, with NWB or NWP you have in the legs 1 hour more ! Even if you’ll be 10-15% faster! There is also a psychological component: being no limitation to the movement of your feet the mental and physical exertion, present with traditional bindings and due to muscles, compelled to a continuous adaptation also due to a boot limited step, is eliminated. Moreover, the recovery is faster since there is no more lumbar nor joints pain. The novelty of these attacks is that in the climbing position your feet are completely free to move as you do when walking normally without skis.

Basta con il passo dell'"ULUC"…. Oggi lo scialpinista è costretto a fare un passo spinto frutto di un affinamento tecnico ed un adattamento dell’atleta all’attrezzo.
With Natural Walking Bindings or Natural Walking Plate (P), instead, you can walk as you do with your running shoes: ie by swinging your leg and rolling over your foot on the plate, with a much more natural and dynamic movement that allows you to do, without any effort, longer steps 10-30%!
Besides skiing, and much of the weight of the attack, are always on the snow immediately giving a pleasant sensation of freedom and lightness. The ski tip, not being loaded, it emerges always alone even if in deep snow. Then you forget about having to "rip" skiing out of the snow with each step.
I test cronometrici (ripetute con GPS) ci dicono che la velocità di percorrenza di una stessa gita aumenta del 10-15% SENZA ALCUNO SFORZO, ma dato ancor più significativo, che il RISPARMIO ENERGETICO è tale da consentire 1h di percorrenza in più ogni 4h di cammino !    Ovviamente la piastra, quindi la punta del piede, può essere bloccata per la discesa o all'occorrenza. A scanso equivoci, vi invitiamo a provare chiedendo al vs. rivenditore di fiducia o contattandoci direttamente. Dal 2012 stiamo testando le NWP-VR nelle gare Vertical race e da quest'anno le NWP-RACE nelle gare salita e discesa. Laura Besseghini è arrivata 7a alla durissima Folgrait (6 salite, 5 discese, 11 cambi d'assetto, muri gelati e disecse in pista di notte): i suoi commenti a caldo: non ho perso tempo nei cambi e nelle salite ripide mi sono trovata molto bene.  Per un prototipo montato solo due settimane prima direi che è un buon inizio e sopratutto una conferma che tutto funziona a dovere anche nelle condizioni più estreme.
